Course Description:

This course will introduce the foundational knowledge of electronic sensors and analog/digital technologies for data acquisition. The sensors discussed in this course can interface with Internet-of-things (IoT) objects. The acquired skills will prepare the students for advanced courses in green energy studies and also developing automation in different scientific disciplines.

GEST4007 Advanced Green Energy Laboratory (Fall 2025)

Course Description:

This laboratory course uses LabVIEW / Arduino based software to perform experiments. The teaching mode includes lectures, lab exercises, and project-based experiments related to (1) energy harvesting; (2) energy conversion efficiency; (3) energy conservation; (4) characterisations of energy harvesting materials and solar cells.
